Phone: 631-385-5291 Knowing that he wanted to build a career in the financial services industry, John Kuchmak joined AXA Advisors, LLC in June of 1978 upon graduation from college. For over three decades he has dedicated himself to meeting the short and long-term needs of his clients in the areas of wealth accumulation, preservation and distribution as well as risk and asset management. Over the years, John has built a specific focus on working with medium-sized companies and business owners on their employee benefit programs including group medical and dental plans, health care savings accounts, and life and long term disability insurance, to help them attract and retain talented employees. He has developed a keen understanding of the myriad of programs available in the marketplace and is able to offer the products of a wide variety of carriers. John prides himself on the level of service and the trusted relationships he establishes with his clients over the course of their lifetime. Committed to his industry, John completed the rigorous coursework to earn the Chartered Life Underwriters (CLU) designation from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA in 1989 placing him as one of the select five percent of his peers who earn these professional designations*. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from C.W. Post in 1978. In recognition of his outstanding performance, John has received many honors and awards and has been inducted into AXA Advisors’ Hall of Fame recognizing a career of superior achievement. Active in his community, John is a resident of Smithtown with his two daughters and his wife, Yvonne. Recognizing the increasingly complex nature of the financial markets, John, along with his partners, formed Pegasus Private Clients Group in 2011 to better serve the needs of the markets they serve.
