With the focus of having his clients not only meet their financial goals but become better educated in financial matters along the way, David Hungerford joined AXA Advisors, LLC in 2002.  As a financial professional, David has focused his business on meeting the retirement planning and pension needs of individuals, and specifically school district employees.  Using a multi-faceted process, David spends a considerable amount of time understanding client needs and concerns, developing a strategy to address those needs, and then providing on-going assistance monitoring client progress in helping them work toward both their short and long-term goals.

Prior to joining AXA, David held the position of Senior Underwriter at Liberty Mutual’s National Transportation Unit in Boston, Massachusetts.  He is a graduate of Boston College.  Committed to his industry, David is currently in the process of taking the required coursework to earn his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation which he hopes to complete in the first quarter of 2012. 

A recipient of many awards and accolades, David earned the Developing Sales Force Associate of the year award in 2006 for his outstanding performance.  In his spare time, David works with the Wounded Warriors Program which provides assistance and advocates for severely wounded, ill or injured members of the armed services. 

David lives in Nesconset with his wife, Jill.
