Phone: 631-385-5420 After graduation from college in 1972, David flew carrier-based jet aircrafts for the U.S. Navy and retired as a Lieutenant Commander. In 1978 he entered the financial services industry and shortly thereafter earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations from the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He has also completed executive courses at The Graduate School of Business at ColumbiaUniversity and most recently a Certificate in Retirement Planning from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. For over 30 years David has specialized in assisting successful individuals and their families to achieve their long-term wealth accumulation and estate planning needs. In 1987 he was elected President of the Suffolk County Chapter of the American Society of Chartered Life Underwriters and Chartered Financial Consultants. Throughout his career he has taught investment courses at HofstraUniversity for the American College, served as his Branch Office’s Director of Financial Planning, as well as their Director of Advanced Planning. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of retirement planning including the design and effective utilization of 401k, 403b, and 457 plans. He also works with a number of Long Island and New York City area CPA and law firms in helping them maximize their clients' retirement, charitable and estate planning goals. David has the ability to integrate a wide range of financial products and services from a large number of investment and insurance companies to help his clients more effectively reach their retirement goals and objectives. His knowledge has allowed him to earn numerous industry and company awards including entry into the Sterling Group, a select group of financial professionals at AXA Advisors, LLC. AXA Advisors is one of the nation’s largest financial companies. David resides in West Islip, NY and has two offices, one in Melville and Lake Success. He is a member of the Nissequogue Golf Club and served on its Board of Governors. He is married to Lynda, a public school teacher. They have one son, who graduated from Boston College in 1999 and works as a registered representative in his firm. Recognizing the increasingly complex nature of the financial markets, David, along with his partners, formed Pegasus Private Clients Group in 2011 to better serve the needs of the markets they serve.
